Boats with plans to cross the Indian Ocean in 2014, bound for South Africa, are invited to connect with each other through a list managed by Behan Gifford of sv Totem.

Members contribute and share a Dropbox folder of resources and connect directly an unlisted Facebook group. If interested, send the following details to sail (at) sv-totem (dot) com: these will be included in the document shared among participants.
* Boat name
* Skipper/crew names
* Boat type/model/length
* Flag country
* email (shore-based and at sea)
* website or blog address
* Communications on board (SSB, sat phone, etc.)
* MMSI
* General route (Northern: Sumatra to port, or Southern: Sumatra to starboard)
* Planned route and timings (intended stops and timings)
