December 2016: New information posted on noonsite

By Sue Richards last modified Feb 08, 2017 04:48 PM
The start of a New Year and new cruising grounds for many noonsite users. Hopefully you are finding some great up-to-date information on noonsite to help with your cruising plans.

Published: 2017-01-05 00:00:00

As always, drop us a short e-mail if you find out something has changed or any new information for the ports you visit. It is you, our users, who help us keep noonsite up to date and current.

After all the Christmas parties and idyllic cruising “un-plugged”, you can find out what you missed with our round-up of all the new information, port and country updates, comments and reports from the cruising community that were posted on noonsite in December. There's also a selection of new tweets, security reports and cruising news.

Thank you to everyone who found time to contribute to noonsite over the festive season.

As always, a very big thank you to all our readers who supported noonsite with a small donation last month (making a small donation) and also to our new advertisers – all of you are helping to keep noonsite a valuable and free service for the cruising community.

A summary of all the new information posted on noonsite during December can be found below.

Editor's Note - Our apologies, many of the links in this report were broken - however all have now been corrected and open in new windows (8 February 2017).

E-mail us with updates and reports: Those of you with more detailed updates for noonsite (i.e. more than just a paragraph which is suitable to post as a comment) can still pass these on to the noonsite team at noonsite@noonsite.com and they will be used for site updates and/or published as a noonsite report. Try to include as much information as you can about places visited, routes taken, contact details etc. and don’t forget to send us a photo or two as well. This e-mail can also be used for any questions you need answered too.

Get involved with our Forums at http://www.worldcruising.com/forum/default.aspx where you will find 3 cruising forums; Weather & Routing, Convoys & Cruising in Company and the Cockpit Locker (for buying and selling 2nd hand boat equipment).

Donate: Noonsite has always been and continues to be a free resource for the cruising community. Whilst we also welcome advertisers whose contributions help towards the running of the site, a monthly bill that is covered by World Cruising Club, our running costs are a high overhead. In order to keep the site free and up-to-date, donations from cruisers who use the site on a regular basis will undoubtedly help us to do so.
