Over 260 yachts have signed up so far to depart Las Palmas in November, with ARC+ setting sail on 9 November, followed by the ARC route direc to Saint Lucia departing on 23 November.

With just five months to go, crews are already sharing their stories about how their preparations are coming along on the ARC Facebook Page.

If you're joining the event, don't forget to fly your ARC flag as you cruise this summer - a great way to meet fellow participants before arriving in Las Palmas and to take advantage of discount berthing at 19 marinas on the way to the Canaries.

Entries for 2015 will open in September this year and those keen to be on the start line are reminded to sign up early to receive an entry place.
