East Malaysia, Borneo, Sandakan: Theft from Yachts Continues - April 2012

It seems another group of yachts were boarded and some robbed in Sandakan (Borneo) a few weeks ago (late March/early April 2012).

On one yacht the crew woke and saw a man in the cockpit but he jumped overboard when the crew yelled at him. An accomplish was along side and they both drove off in a small boat at speed. This crew have now fitted security devices to the cockpit area. This particular yacht was participating in a small Rally returning to Australia via Indonesia.
