David Chettle of Yacht Dilly Dally dillydally515@yahoo.com I sailed many happy months with David in his concrete Swedish yacht "Dilly Dally" out of Bequia, St. Vincent in 1988. Carol, sailmaker, from UK, was also his crew. Very senior in sailing experience, though not in age, to me. Then, sadly, I felt I had to move on to pursue my own (aviation) career. David was a wonderful boat captain. Sadly also I have not heard from him since the early nineties when I also met Carol again in Antigua. Anyone who knows where David might be now, please respond. I hope for
the best but am prepared for the worst.

Disappearance of Flying Lady - Formosa 68 felix@pantaenius.co.uk Flying Lady, a 1987 Formosa 68, was last seen on 10th December 2007 just before she disappeared from Adra in Southern Spain when the owner was absent. An extensive search failed to find any trace of her whatsoever and no sightings have been reported since. She is likely to still be in the Mediterannean, possibly on the African side, but may be as far away as the Atlantic Islands – Madeira, Canaries, Azores. Any noonsite readers that may have sighted this yacht, please contact PANTAENIUS UK Limited at the e-mail address above.
Update June 2009: Following an extensive search throughout the Med and as far as the Canaries, this yacht has still not been found. However, distinctive vessels such as this one can turn up after some considerable time so if you have any information, please do get in touch.
Dystocia Long Overdue harpo@islandia.is DYSTOCIA FL 2153 NT, white sailboat, 35 feet, 1975 Bavaria, one mast, two liferafts.

regular facial features.
Last heard from on June 3rd 2008, by Iridium phone, on his way from Bermuda heading to Newfoundland. From there he was planning to go to Europe (possibly Ireland, Denmark, Iceland).
If anyone has seen this vessel and skipper, on either side
of the Atlantic, please contact me.

Lilly oo-la-la - Have You Seen Her? Posted 1 June 2009 slush@comhem.se To all yachts in the Bahamas, T&C, Dominican Republic, Virgins:
Has any one seen, heard or know anything about the yacht and crew of the Lilly oo-la-la and can anybody please put me in touch with the yacht BADERIO
and/or WINDSTAR 4 cruising in those waters.
Description: the Lilly oo-la-la, 40 foot Gaff Ketch, wooden spars, white hull with green stripe along the hull shearline, possibly New Jersey Reg Number painted
in white on the green stripe, could be under American or British flag, crew/owner Kenny Jackson of Guernsey, Channel Islands and with black cat answering to the name "Buddy". Yacht is equipped with VHF.
Kenny has uncharacteristically not been in contact with family or friends
since
leaving Charleston SC single-handed with cat on March 23, 2009 bound for
Nassau
Bahamas islands. It is not certain that they made a successful land fall in
the Bahamas.
Lack of contact has us quite concerned.
Inquiries were made to the Bahamian authorities which produced possible
unconfirmed visual sighting(s) by the yacht BADERIO and WINDSTAR 4
around the time of a presumptive landfall April 1 and a few days later. No
record of
check in. This sighting information is quite tenuous and may well be an error
due to its third party nature and other factors.
Any information that puts us in touch with BADERIO or WINDSTAR 4 or
provides us
with a solid indication that the Lilly oo-la-la made landfall would be
appreciated beyond measure by his family and friends who are quite worried,
considering the amount of time passed with no contact. I have a photo of the boat, please email for further details.
Sincerly, Capt. Walter Robertson, Stockholm, Sweden
Looking For Dave on Chameleon February 2008 arawana72@hotmail.com Can any one tell us how to get in contact with this guy please? We had heard of him when we were in Gladstone, East Coast, Australia. He had good knowledge of the weather patterns between NZ and Tonga - which was a route he travelled regularly. Mary Grant.

Seeking Slipaway Seatrader 31 Posted April 2009 Tel:902 690 7069 vic.debeer@iso-qma.com Seeking Slipaway Seatrader 31 (or renamed Highlander)
In 1992 I had to sell my sailboat as part of a divorce settlement. The sailboat is "Slipaway" a 31 ft Dick Barens designed multi chine steel sloop. I would dearly like to find the whereabouts of her and would like to, if possible, communicate with the present owner. It was purchased in Nova Scotia Canada, by a family from Scotland who did mention at the time, that he was thinking of sailing Slipaway to Scotland. Vic de Beer, vicdebeer@hotmail.com.
Additional Update posted April 2009 as below -
I am still trying to find my old sailboat "Slipaway" a 30ft Barens Seatrader. I have heard that the boat may now be sailing under the name of "Highlander". If anyone knows the whereabouts of this boat, please contact me at 902-690-7096. or e-mail me at vic.debeer@iso-qma.com
