A charitable organization which does not distribute any profits as these are used to finance new books, new developments, to subsidize those pilots covering areas of low demand and the e-pilots. SSCA, a non-profit, international organization with nearly 10,000 members, has been supporting liveaboard cruisers for over fifty years. The goals of the original founders are still the goals of SSCA today: sharing cruising information, camaraderie, and leaving a clean wake. Monthly Bulletins, a collection of letters from cruisers all over the world, are now available online and on CD, with searchable index by geographical area and topic.
