2010 USA to Japan Posted December 2009 eric2haas@gmail.com West Coast of USA to Japan (possibly via Hawaii)
I'm living in Portland, Oregon (I could leave from anywhere on the West Coast) and I want to sail to Japan (possibly via Hawaii) anytime beginning March 2010. I don't have a whole lot of sailing experience, but I’m hungry to get out in the ocean...I work hard, I can cook good healthy meals (I currently run a Japanese restaurant here); I've got a
bit of experience with carpentry, woodworking, and painting. I learn quickly, and I’d be happy to help with whatever’s needed. I'm fluent in Spanish. Easygoing. I enjoy good conversations, reading, writing, thinking…
I'm 25 and it's time to see the world. Please email me
if you're interested. Eric
April-August 2010 - Tuamotus/ French Polynesia biology study Posted December 2009 msb2@sfu.ca I am a biology student studying an endangered bird species in the Tuamotu Archipelago (French Polynesia) and I am seeking a way to get to Tenararo (Acteon Group) or Morane, in the south east of the archipelago or Reitoru,in its centre. I am not a sailer, but would be extremely happy to help onboard (I am a hard worker used to tough field conditions). Ideal dates for me would be anytime from April 2010 to August 2010, but I can be flexible. I need at least 2 days on any of these atolls (longer stays would be better).
If you are going this way and don’t mind taking one or two persons with you, please contact me for more information.

Seeking Crew 2008-2012 (posted Jan 2008) circumnavigate06@bellsouth.net I've recently purchased a 44' Diesel Duck steel trawler with a 400sf sailing rig for stability. My initial trip will be in May 2008 from Houston, Texas to Miami, Florida, followed by a trip from Miami to Baltimore, Maryland. In May 2009, I plan on a 5 month cruise that will include Newfoundland, Labrador and the Grand Banks. In 2010, the cruise will be about 7 months and will extend to Hudson Bay and Greenland. 2011 will find the boat cruising to the Galapagos islands followed by a 2012 cruise to Alaska.
I would like one or two crew members for each/all of these adventures. If you have interest, please contact me directly. Thanks, Tommy.
Wanted - Boat to India from Thailand Posted December 2009 edwin.maaike@gmail.com We are a Dutch couple in our late twenties, looking for a sail boat, yacht, cargo ship, or anything else going to the Andaman islands or mainland India over sea from Thailand
(Phuket). After six months travelling through Russia, Mongolia and China using only public transport, we are trying to continue our trip without flying.
If you are going to India or the Andaman islands by boat, please contact us! We have strong stomachs, little luggage and are willing to help/work and to pay a reasonable fee (or share costs). We have visa for India and can leave any day.
Also, if you have any tips or suggestions, want more information, or just would like to meet us, please send us an e-mail! We hope to hear from you soon...

Wanted Professional Crew - Sardinia to Charleston, SC Posted September 2009 sanzviz@hotmail.com Wanted: Professional crew to sail beautiful 41' Morgan Classic home to Charleston, SC.
Last year we sailed our Morgan from Charleston, SC to the Med. We spent a few months in the Med and ended the trip in Sardinia. We flew back to Sardinia in October hoping to get her back to Charleston. We have now decided it would be better for us to hire a Captain and crew to bring her
back for us.
She is an amazing boat. My girlfriend and I crossed her alone, so I am sure a group of 3 can handle her quite nicely. Please email me if you are interested in learning more. It will be the trip of a lifetime.
