There are visitors' moorings off the town and at Ardantrive, across Kerrera Sound. The latter are more sheltered in strong SW/NW winds. There is no marina at Oban itself. Kerrera and Dunstaffnage being the closest.
There are anchorages at Brandystone, Gallanachbeg, Horseshoe Bay, Little Horseshoe Bay and at Dunstaffnage.
