  Larne : Profile

Docking

A sheltered lough on the east coast of Ireland, north of Belfast lough. It is a busy ferry terminal for services to Scotland, as well as a commercial port.

There is no marina here, but several sheltered anchorages and the lough can be entered in any conditions, day or night. It may be possible to use a mooring belonging to the East Antrim Boat Club if they are contacted in advance. They are on the W side of the lough, by the ruins of Olderfleet Castle.
