Largs : Profile
This popular port on the eastern shore of the Firth of Clyde has a long sailing history. It was brought to prominence by the well-known yacht designer, William Fife. It forms a useful base for exploring the extensive sheltered waters of the Clyde area.
The main yachting facility is the marina at Largs, which is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of the town.
Just south of Largs is the new berthing facility of Fairlie Quay
