Brixham - Boatyards

Select your download option below

There is no boatyard where yachts can be hauled out and stored in Brixham, though most in-water repairs can be carried out here. Also, there is now a boat lift enabling some repairs, scrubbing and anti-fouling to be done at the marina.

Dartmouth or Galmpton is the usual choice for a full-service boatyard.

The Harbour Authority has two scrubbing grids and a scrubbing bay in the inner harbour, but they are generally more suited to larger vessels. For bilge keeled boats, the wide concrete WW2 slipway next to the marina is a useful place to dry out for one tide. It is a good option for a quick below water repair or inspection.
