Fethiye : Profile

Location

The town of Fethiye is situated on the southern shore of the bay of Fethiye Adasi and is reasonably sheltered from the prevailing winds.

Clearance

Customs and Immigration Authorities are immediately behind the town quay and the Health Authorities a block behind them.

Docking

It is reported that the town yacht quay is usually very crowded and unlikely to have space for private yachts. There are several other small marinas further from the town.

Anchorage It is possible to anchor in the bay but the quality of the holding is patchy in mud and weed. There is a good, quiet, pretty anchorage in the NW corner of the bay, behind the wreck, although it is some way from the town. There is a water tap on the beach here.

The harbour office is opposite the pier used by the gulets.

Opening Hours: 24/ hours a day all year.
The marina in front of the town. Berths for 400 yachts. On entering the marina a berthing boat will show you where to moor. All facilities, laundry, internet, first aid post, ATM, restauants and bars. The marina can arrange clearance (fee charged). Quite expensive and visitors may be berthed out on the wave breaker which is a long way from both town and facilities. No major repair or maintenance work such as sanding, painting etc is permitted on boats berthed at marina.
