  Sidi Daoud : Profile

Clearance

Sidi Daoud
An artificial harbour on the west side of Cape Bon used as a base by a large number of local fishing boats. Approaches are dangerous due to extensive shallows and a chop develops inside the port during onshore winds. There is little space for visitors who may be able to come alongside a fishing boat. As this is a port of entry customs and immigration have offices in the port. There is fuel on the central quay (north side). There are limited repair facilities, no travelift and a small yard operates on the beach. The nearest town is El Haouaria, about 8 km inland.
