Kelibia : Profile
Kelibia is a busy fishing harbour and a convenient port of entry if coming from Malta, Pantelleria or Sicily, but with very limited facilities compared to other ports with marinas.
Port officials and customs very low key, and will do all the checking in at you boat, taking any documents to their office and bring them back again.
There is a pontoon reserved for visitors, the inner half of the north side of which is for the Guarde National boats and the southside is full of small abandoned local boats. Raft up to these and take lines ashore. The police do not allow mooring elsewhere. The swell enters the port during onshore winds.
The entrance channel can be difficult due to silting. The best water is close to the fuel berth on the port side of the entrance.
