Location

Port of Spain is a commercial port, and as such, is not open to yachts.

It lies just 10nm from Chaguaramas and has many useful services.

Position 10° 39.1'N, 61° 32.8'W.

Clearance

Arriving yachts should clear at Chaguaramas. Port of Spain is a commercial port, and yachts may only stop there in real emergencies.

Visiting yachts can pay for temporary membership and use their facilities: some pontoon berths are available, also water, electricity and other services. Fuel dock open Mon- Fri 1000-1800, weekends 0800-1600.
