Siam Royal View has added outstanding marina facilities to its Koh Chang resort property venture. The luxury development now boasts a state-of-the-art marina, which finally opens the attractive eastern part of Thailand’s Gulf up for the yachtsmen.

Currently one of only two professional marinas in the Gulf of Thailand, it stands alone within a 120 nm radius in offering first class boat mooring facilities.

The marina is tucked safely behind a bend in the Klong Son River, which provides natural protection from the sea in any kind of weather.

The outstanding facilities include:

  • 75 wet berths ranging in size from 8 to 30 metres (1. phase 35 berths)
  • Access to a 110m private pier which can accommodate super-yachts
  • Fuel dock and suction station (in development); Petrol 91 & Diesel available
  • Yacht maintenance services
  • Shoreside electricity and water for liveaboard on every wet berth
  • Substantial dry berth storage for smaller boats and personal watercraft
  • Access to additional mooring buoys
  • 24-hour security
  • Marina Bar and Restaurant
  • Accommodation on land
  • Swimming Pools and outstanding Beaches
  • Car Parking
  • Access to Siam Royal View Beach Club & Restaurant, Golf Club and other facilities
  • Shopping, motorcycle or car rentals available nearby

The navigation channel to access the marina is clearly marked with buoys and allows in- and outbound navigation most of the time even for large vessels. A pilot service is available via CH 16 to guide captains unfamiliar with the area safely into the marina. GPS position N12° 07,9 E102° 16,0.

Siam Royal View’s marina is located in exceptional sailing grounds with over 50 tropical islands to explore, many protected by National Park status. The region’s crystal clear seas are generously dotted with richly forested beach-fringed islands that are the very image of big screen fantasy and a paradise for leisure sailors. Many of the islands are completely uninhabited and offer palm-fringed beaches and tropical flora and fauna, while others are host to interesting resorts and restaurants worth visiting while cruising the archipelago. Nearly all of the islands offer palm-fringed beaches and tropical flora and fauna, and the surrounding waters there are excellent diving and snorkeling spots throughout.

In addition to the water-based attractions, boat owners with their vessel based in Koh Chang can enjoy an exceptional range of leisure and entertainment facilities on this popular upmarket tourist destination.

Koh Chang is easily reached from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, making it the ideal permanent mooring for yacht owners based across South East Asia.
