• St Pierre and Miquelon is a territory of France, located in the North Atlantic Ocean 15 miles off the south coast of Newfoundland. The main islands of the small archipelago are St Pierre, Miquelon (Grande Miquelon), and Langlade (Petite Miquelon), the latter two connected by a sandy isthmus.
