Communications

International telephone calls can be made from public telephones on the yacht club premises or from the Telefonica building open 0800-2400 Monday to Friday, 0800-2200 Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Mail can be sent to Real Club Nautico, Plaza San Pedro 1, 07012 Palma de Mallorca.

The main post office is in Calle Constitucion 9, open 0900-2100 Monday to Friday, 0900-1400 Saturday.

Tourist Information, Avenida Jaime III, open 0930-1430 Monday to Friday.

Out of town there are the hypermarkets Pryca, General Riera 156, Tel. 297400, and Continente, Cardenal Rossell, Tel. 267350.

There are several open air fresh produce markets. The nearest to the waterfront is Mercado Santa Catalina, Plaza Navegacion, Tel. 467136, open 0700-1400 Monday to Saturday.

Transport & Travel

As the capital of one of Europe's major holiday destinations, Palma has very good airlinks with most European capitals. For intercontinental flights, one may have to change planes in Madrid or Barcelona. Palma airport flight information: Tel. 971 264162.
