Clearance, neither in or out, is no longer possible at Lata, Santa Cruz.

Docking

Customs prefers that yachts anchor close to the wharf at Lata. This is a very deep and exposed anchorage and it may be best to leave a crewmember on board. An alternative anchorage is in the protection of Shaw Point across Graciosa Bay. In this event it will be necessary to ferry the customs agent across, either in your dinghy or perhaps in a hired motor-canoe.
