The Royal Belau Yacht Club Box 7076, , Koror, Palau 96940 Tel:+680-488-4382 , Fax:+680-488-5003, VHF Channel 16 http://www.samstours.com/services-yachtclub.html, rbyc@samstours.com RBYC warmly welcomes all cruising yachts and visiting pleasure craft and is happy to assist with Vessel Entry Clearance and other arrangements. Our facilities overlooking Malakal Cove anchorage include a dinghy dock, private showers, fuel dock (gasoline and diesel), bar & restaurant, potable fresh water, mail-drop and a warm friendly staff. International long distance telephone service and internet access are also available.
Use of our facilities is complimentary to all visiting yachts.
Visiting yachts are invited to come around to the Yacht Club anchorage AFTER they have completed Vessel Entry Clearance. We can assist with finding a suitable anchorage or available mooring.
In the main harbor yachts should not anchor to the north of the northern port wall as there is a giant clam population there. There is a spot about 30 feet deep near the N/NE corner of the port wall (south of two old anchored tugs) which has good holding (it is around 50-70 feet deep elsewhere). Sometimes it is possible to tie up to the port wall if there is room, contact Port Control on VHF Ch 16 first.
The Royal Belau Yacht Club [see above]
The Royal Belau Yacht Club has a busy social programme and welcomes visiting sailors. Its members are the best source if help is needed.
Royal Belau Yacht Club saildive@palaunet.com Full service club house, dinghy dock, bar/grill, bathrooms/showers, fuel station, water supply, trash service etc. etc. Will assist with entry clearance, anchoring, moorings etc.
