Location

Tønsberg is a vibrant city with a lot going on in the summer. It is one of Norway's oldest towns.

Docking

You can practically tie your boat up to any one of several outdoor restaurants or go to the guest harbour a bit further west for peace. The guest harbour can get a bit uncomfortable, but not dangerous in a strong SW. Avoid the outside of the pontoons if possible.

NB this is the correct address despite the actually marina being located 100 kms south of Oslo. Yachting centre E of Tonsberg. Wintering possible in water at Sjosenteret Vallo or ashore at Vallo Marina/Vallo Batforening. Vallo Marina is one of the biggest marinas in the Oslofjord, with large storage area on land. One of the few boat yards that allow winter storage ashore with mast up. Engine and fibreglass repairs undertaken. Volvo Penta dealer. Sailmaker at Sjosenteret Vallo.
