Tananger : Profile
Located at 58° 55. 6’N, 5° 35.6’E, Tananger is a most useful port of call if wishing to berth in the vicinity of Stravanger. When making a coastal passage, is save a considerable detour as it is right on the North Sea coast of Norway.
This is a large, busy harbour as it services the North Sea oil rigs.
There are plenty of berthing options for yachts.
Tananger marina Tananger VHF Channel 09 60 berths in the NW corner of the harbour. Good shelter. New pontoons, with water and electricity. Showers (open 07:30-21:00). Visitors moor on end of long pontoon or boarded quay inside mole linking island.
