Stord : Profile
Located roughly midway between Bergan and Stravanger, the island of Stord is about 50NM N of Haugesund.
There are 3 marinas on the island with services for visiting boats.
Leirvik is the main city on the SE coast and has all you need; fuel,
showers, electricity, and shops close to the marina.
Sagvåg, on the SW coast has diesel, showers, foodstores and a resturant.
Fitjar, on the northern end of the island, has a new marina with fuel (takes creditcards), food and general stores.
At Sagvåg and Fitjar both have slipways and repair facilities.
