This lock operates 24hrs but does not open if the tides are above or below a certain level. It is advisable to contact the lock directly.

Docking

The port is entered through a set of lock gates and there is a marina close to the lock. There is also the Michiel De Ruyterhaven marina in the town centre.

This marina is not accessable at night, but yachts are able to leave in the dark. It gets very busy in the season and an early arrival is advisable. There is just 1 metre over the cill at LW. Water and electricity are on the pontoons, toilets and showers.

Alongside berthing. Berthing is run by the yacht club and the managers speak English. Water and power on pontoons. Toilets, showers, launderette, and fuel. Home-cooked food available in the Clubhouse.
