Vlissingen Sea Lock VHF Channel 22 This lock operates 24hrs but does not open if the tides are above or below a certain level. It is advisable to contact the lock directly.
The port is entered through a set of lock gates which are permamently closed form the end of October to the beginning of March.
There is a marina close to the lock, and another, the Michiel De Ruyterhaven marina, in the town centre.
If navigating the Scheldt in fog, call the MCSAD (Maritine and Coastal Services Shipping Assistance Division ) on VHF channel 14 and they will kep a radar watch for you and warn you of other vessels' positions. At other times, keep a listening watch on VHF 14 and advise MCSAD of your intentions.

It gets very busy in the season and an early arrival is advisable. There is just 1 metre over the cill at LW. Water and electricity are on the pontoons, toilets and showers. Laundry, restaurant.
Bridge open on demand from 08:00-22:00. It is left open at night.
Schelde Jachthaven Tel:+31 (0)118 465 912, VHF Channel 18 Alongside berthing. Berthing is run by the yacht club and the managers speak English. Water and power on pontoons. Toilets, showers, launderette, restaurant and fuel. Home-cooked food available in the Clubhouse.
Access is through the Walcheren Canal lock which opens 24/7 all year.
