Docking

Vlieland is one of the Frisian islands. It is the one east of Texel. The town of Oost Vlieland is on the extreme eastern tip of the island. It is a very attractive town with a popular yacht harbour. In the height of the season it is sometimes closed to newcomers, who then have to anchor outside.

NOTE: The harbour is undergoing major renovations and is likely to be closed until at least May 2008.
