Rotterdam is The Netherlands’ second-largest city and Europe’s busiest port, as well as being a showcase for modern architecture. There are some excellent museums, but the ancient part of the city was destroyed during WW2.

    Be aware that you are not allowed to enter any other port other than the Veerhaven. It’s very attractive to enter the Maashaven where the SS Rotterdam is berthed and make a nice picture, but this could result in a fine. On the website from the port of Rotterdam, you can find up to date information concerning sailing on the River. In case you need any info please feel free to contact me.
