Tivat : Profile

Location

Situated in the central part of the Boka Kotorska Bay, Tivat has an impressive display of tropical plants and unusual trees.

Docking

Docking here is now much improved with the opening of the new Porto Montenegro Marina in 2009. The Marina has plans to expand its mooring capacity in 2012 with the construction of 270 berths for yachts up to 328 ft. in length. Work is scheduled to begin in October 2012 to be fully operational by winter 2013/2014.

In addition, Porto Montenegro has teamed up with Adriatic Shipyard Bijela to develop a repair and refit facility in the Boka Bay with a travelift. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2012.

Located in Bay of Kotor, near Tivat city, the marina currently has 185 berths. An expansion project is currently underway (2012). All facilities, WiFi. Most staff speak good English. Help with clearance.
