  Xcalak : Profile

Location

This quiet town is no busy tourist resort, tucked away as it is at the end of a long peninsula and close to the Belize border. There is a navel station here.

Clearance

This is not an official Port of Entry.

On arrival, take a copy of your papers to the port captain's office.

Last updated January 2011.

Docking

This is principally an anchorage, but the XTC diving centre offers limited dockage for yotties.

The rebuilt town dock is now completed after recent hurricane damage, with 6ft at the end of the dock and steps about 1/2 way down on north side.
