 Grand Baie : Profile
Initial clearance is 2 weeks, but extensions for up to two months are usually granted without any problem.
There is a good anchorage in front of the yacht club at Grand Baie, but in the channel leading into the bay is 3m at high tide.

The Grand Baie Yacht Club offers free, temporary membership to visiting sailors for up to 2 months and prides itself on its long tradition of welcoming foreign yatchsmen. The club has good food, as well as cold beer and hot showers. Water and fuel can be obtained from the jetty.
