 Mersrags : Profile
This quiet, peaceful town is situated on the east coast of Latvia, in the Gulf of Riga. This is a useful port of call now that the harbour has been deepened. The aproach chanel is well marked.
It lies about half way between Roja and Engure.
Position 57°20.7'N, 23°7.3'E.
The harbour is surrounded by piers, and there is no difficulties approaching the harbour.
A new yacht club with accomodation and pontoons has been built here in 2010.
The Yacht Centre is located at the head of the harbour, to port, just before bridge.
It is close to the town centre and all the facilities required.
