Clearance

It is now possible to clear into Kuwait at the port on this small island off the coast of Kuwait as there are both Customs and Coast Guard posts here.

Docking

This is the only one of Kuwait's islands to be surrounded by deep water. A small island just 1 mile long and a third of a mile wide, it is uninhabited except for the officials. At one time it was a centre for pearl fishing.

The dock consists of a long jetty. Fuel is available.
