Clearance

The creek affords a well sheltered anchorage and the Aquamarine (Marineland) Restaurant is a popular gathering place for cruising sailors. If entering or leaving the country, immigration must be completed in Mombasa; the customs office at Kilifi must be visited on arrival and departure (it may be possible to arrange for customs to visit the yacht, for a fee - contact the workshop at Marineland for details).

Bar and restaurant for tourists run by a sailor and welcoming to visiting yachts. Formal attire may be required. Dinghies can be moored at the dock used for the dhow excursion boats. Shower and telephone service available.
