Customs
All clearance officials will visit the boat. Customs must be advised of any narcotic medicines on board.

Docking

There is a 500ft floating pier with 3.5m at LW. If there is no space here, it is possible to use the harbour wall, but it is advisable to use a brest anchor to keep off it.

The harbour is safe in a typhoon, but plenty of rope is needed.

Locally, there are good mechanics and plenty of hardware stores and supermarkets.

Ginowan Marina
Okinawa
26deg 17'N, 127deg 45'E. There is 13ft at LW and the entrance channel is marked. The inner part of the dock is safe in a typhoon, but the outer berths, (for visitors) are less protected.
