Port Antonio : Profile
This port lies on Jamaica's north east coast. It comprises of East harbour and West Harbour with a narrow, well-marked channel between the two. The marina and cruise ship terminal are in the West harbour.
Position 18° 10.5'N,76° 27.1'W.
Port Antonio is an official Port of Entry. Customs, Immigration and Quarantine clear yachts in and out the Erroll Flynn marina.
On approach, call the marina on VHF channel 16 and they will advise on where to berth and make arrangements with the Authorities for clearance.
There are no fees or charges when arriving or departing Jamaica as long as you do so during regular office hours (8 am to 5pm weekdays).

The marina at Port Antonio (now called Errol Flynn Marina) has the best facilities and the staff are very helpful. A few moorings buoys available for USD10 per day which includes use of the facilities.
It is also possible to anchor in East Harbour, free of charge.
The entire shoreline at West Harbour lies inside a gated, fenced perimeter. Along the length of the waterfront runs a boardwalk and park with a very
popular ice cream shop at the far end. The area is accessed through a security gate. It is a very lively place, popular with the locals and visitors, especially on the weekends.
