Of all the Italian cities, this one certainly needs no introduction! There are a large number of berthing options in the Venitian lagoon. The main entrance into the lagoon is at S. Nicolo. The canal here is wide and deep and leads to the heart of the city.

Customs office is at Punta della Salute.
There several options for berthing in Venice istself and also elsewhere in the lagoon.
Punta della Salute is conveniently in the heart of the city and close to the harbour and customs offices. Moor between the huge mooring posts (NOT to the quay). It is rather uncomfortable due to the constant wash from passing boats. It is operated by Venice Yacht Pier (see below).

Visitors can stay, if a berth is vacant, in one of the most spectacular settings in the world!
The clubhouse is by the square.

This moderate-capacity marina has moorings for small size, because it has moorings for boats with a maximum length of up to 9.00 m and a maximum draught of 3.00 m. Varied range of services available.

Coming from the Porto di Lido, take the channel of Canale Treporti which curves NE from the entrance round the headland of Punta Sabbioni. Marina Fiorita lies on the starboard side of the channel about two miles NE from Porto di Lido and a mile past the marina of Marina di Lio Grando. The marina is entered from NNW, though larger yachts often berth on the outside of the wavebreak pontoon at the entrance. Beware of strong currents in the entrance (and, indeed, through the marina pontoons), which can exceed 4.0 knots at springs.
Berthing assistance available on request. Berths are on finger pontoons or alongside the wavebreak pontoon where directed.
