Docking

Olbia is located on the Costa Smeralda on a beautiful stretch of the NE coast. It is a popular holiday destination, having both a wild and rocky coastline and beautiful sandy beaches.

Yachts can now used the (disused) ferry quay for free for one night in the harbour. There are also several marinas in the vicinity.

Reports from summer 2005 are of several yachts being broken into while anchored in Olbia, while their crew were ashore or on another yacht. Anyone considering anchoring should leave someone aboard if leaving the boat during the evening. Yachts moored against the wall have not been affected.
