Alghero : Profile
Port Authorities Tel:+39 079 953 174
This useful port, on the northern end of the west coast, is in the heart of the city, so all services are close by.
There is usually a reception boat at the harbour entrance which will guide yachts to an appropriate berth. Beware of a badly lit fish farm in the approaches. Both transit and longer term moorings are available here.
Berths all along the inside of the outer breakwater. Berths on the town quay are all equipped with tailed moorings, water and electricity. Additional pontoons in this area extending northwards.
Fertilia, just north of Alghero, offers very good shelter and an ecomonic place to over-winter.
