  Wexford : Profile

Location

Wexford is an important retail centre for the south eastern corner of Ireland. The town lies on the south side of the harbour, in the estuary of the River Slaney.

Docking

This harbour is best entered 2 hours each side of HW. In strong on-shore winds the seas can break over the bar.

Take care to follow the marked channel. It is advisable to check the latest plan

Yachts berth on the long pontoon just below the bridge. There is a sheltered anchorage in 2.3m off the town quays, but the tidal streams can be strong.

Located in the SE corner of Ireland, this 55 berthed marina (20 visitors berths) provides good shelter from the elements. (Wexford 14 miles/Rosslare ferry port 12 miles). Showers at Stella Maris (10 minute walk) Marine supplies, LPG and some chandlery available in village. Nearest fuel is 3 miles away Some electrical and mechanical repairs are possible
