Clarkes Court Bay : Profile

Location

Clarkes Court Bay is a sheltered bay on the southwest coast of Granada, north of Hog Island. It was formerly called Woburn Bay and there is a small town call Lower Woburn.

Docking

There are many anchorages as well as two marinas. There is a well bouyed channel leading into the bay.

N12deg. 00.7' W061deg 44.4'. Full service marina with finger piers. Water, electricity, washrooms, showers, laundry facilities and a clubhouse with a bar. Telephone, fax, WiFi services. Boatwatch, management and repair services. Also swinging moorings available. A modern marina run by former Canadian, Bob.

Position 12° 00.6'N, 061° 44.0'W. Full service marina with "med-moor" dock. Water, electricity, washrooms, showers, laundry facilities and a French restaurant/bar. Telephone, fax and free WiFi services. Boatwatch, management and repair services. The marina has new owners (2009), Gilles with Mari from Quebec and Gerard and Vinciane from France who have added a lot of new services and delicatessen. Cruising boats welcome.
