The authorities for clearing in/out are all located in the old harbour area.

They are very helpful.

Docking

Yachts can no longer berth in the old harbour and must use the marina on the southern side of the headland, Ak Mavros Kavos. The marina offers good shelter in all conditions.

Berth where directed, picking up a tailed mooring line and proceeding bows/stern-to the quay.

Boats of less than 12m are berthed on D dock (because it is now a popular winter haven) which was built for small motor boats. As a result the mooring lines are inadequate and very short. Ideally, if less than 12m, try to obtain confirmation when booking of the pontoon you are to be allocated.
