Travemunde (Lubeck) : Profile
Travemunde is the port for Lubeck, which is 11 miles further upstream. Although it is possible to berth at the Historic-Ship habour (the Hansahafen) there are no facilities here.
A more pleasant option is to use one on the marinas at Travemude, or Herreninsel or Schlutup, both of which are about halfway to Lubeck. Beyond this, the river is rather industrialized. There are good public transport connections to the city, which is definately worth visiting.
