Location

This is a pleasent island with some of the only white sand beaches in the Marquesas.

Clearance

Not a port of entry.

Docking

Anchorage off Vaitahu: gusty valley, some coral heads (deep), must search for good sandy bottom (a good place is just in front of beach ramp next to church, 50 yd. out, in line w/ pirogues moorings). Accelerated winds can rush down the valley with gusts up to 50 kts.
