This attractive deep-water port is just 10nm from the Spanish border. It is both an important fishing and commercial harbour. The old town is interesting and there is also a 13th century castle.
There are only a few moorings for visitors, so booking ahead is advisable in high season.
The visitors pontoon is immediately ahead when entering the inner harbour and is well sheltered in all winds. Do not enter the harbour if all three lights are green, only if all lights are out.
