Marseilles : Profile
Customs, Av. Robert Schumann, Tel: +33 (0)491 141516
The office is to port, just inside the entrance to the Vieux Port, after passing Fort St-Jean.
As the French themselves say, you either love or hate this city!
In the Vieux Port, beware of the ferries; they charge in and out at high speed, taking no account of yachts moving about. It is a very sheltered harbour, although rather noisy. The pontoons on the southern side of the harbour run by Cercle Nautique et Touristique du Lacydon (CNTL) are recommended.
The marina at La Pointe Rouge is in the southern outskirts of the city.
A useful map of the port area.
