Brest : Profile
Although more expensive than the Marina du Moulin Blanc (3 miles beyond the commercial ports), there is now a new marina in the heart of the city -Marina du Chateau. It is close to the entrance of the River Penfold, on the site of the former naval facility.
Yachts must not enter the commercial docks.

Marina du Chateau 4, rue Commandant Malbert - 29200 Brest Tel:02 98 022002 port-de-plaisance@sopab.fr Position 48°22'52.50N, 4°29'31.94W. Over 100 visitors' berths. Pontoons N & M belong to the yacht club and there are further berths reserved for the navy. All facilities, fuel, 20 ton boat hoist, WiFi, chandlery. Visitors berth on the long pontoon to sta'bd, which runs alongside the wall.

Large marina with 100 visitors berths. Arriving yachts should moor at the visitors pontoon in the North Basin (Bassin Nord). All facilities, fuel, repairs, crane, boat hoist, LPG, charts, WiFi, launderette, provisions, bar and restaurant. Bus to city centre (20 mins).
