  Turku : Profile

Location

A modern city and commercial port on the south east coast. Its approaches are attractive as you weave the 50NM through a maze of off-shore islands.

Docking

There are several marinas but the city-run guest harbour is the most convenient, although it gets very full in the high season. It is on the north bank of the Aura river.

It may be possible to anchor off one of the more remote islands, but those nearer the city are private.
