Mariehamn : Profile
The town is on the large peninsula projecting from the southern shore of the principal island of Aland. It is an attractive place of old wooden houses and pavement cafes. It has an ancient seafaring tradition of which it is justifiably proud.

There are harbours on both sides of the peninsula, which, although only a mile apart by land, require an early decision about which to head for when approaching by sea.

The club also has a marina on the island of Rödhmn, 10 nm south of Mariehamn.
Lemstroms kanal Swing Bridge Tel: (0)18 33 731, bridge-master. Opening Hours: From 0800 to 1730(May, Sept,Oct) & to 2150(June,July) Opened on the hour for 10 minutes. For a fee of 10euro, the bridge can be opened after closing hours.

This yard is located on the west side of Mariehamn peninsula in the Aland Islands.
Haulout, lifting cradle, repairs and winter berthing.
Larger boats can be lifted out by crane but must be stored outside.
