  Tvoroyri : Profile

Clearance

Suduroy is the most convenient landfall for boats arriving from the south. Suduroy Radio should be contacted on VHF Channel 16. The customs office overlooks the harbour at Tveraa (Tvoroyri) and formalities should be completed there. The Harbourmaster also requests that yachts contact him on departure.

Docking

The harbour is very secure, but also very busy. The prefered place for yachts is in the trawler harbour, which is the first of the three enclosed harbours in the fjoid.

There is also an anchorage further up the fjord, off the village of Trongisvagur. The holding is excellent in thick mud.

Showers and launderette are avalable at the Harbourmaster's office.
