Location

This is a vibrant resort town on the southern tip on the Sinai peninsula. Diving activities abound here due to the proximity of the many spectacular reefs in the Red Sea.

Position 27° 54.5'N, 34° 20.18'E (bay entrance)

Clearance

This is not a Port of Entry.

Docking

The port, in Sharem-al-Maya bay, has became the city's main yacht and service port. This is a commercial port and not very comfortable for yachts. Mooring fees are very high.

Travco Marina is only for Egyptian boats.
