Location

About 25nm north of Pula, Rovinj is a very attractive town sitting on a peninsula.

Position 45°04.8'N, 13°38.1'E.

Clearance

It is a year-round Port of Entry.

The officials' offices are just north of the harbour breakwater.

If clearing in, berth stern-to the inner side of the breakwater.

Docking

There is a marina on the southern edge of the town, opposite the island of Sv. Katarina. Berth here as directed.

An anchorage is to be found in the southern side of the bay, in sand.

Shelter is reasonably good, although rather exposed to the W and SW.

Marina Valalta is located in Sveti Feliks cove and is part of the Valalta nudist center and is only open in summer.
